I have always wanted a vacuum sealer because I buy a lot of meat in bulk and freeze it. I have never been able to convince myself to fork out the money and I wasn't sure how much I would use it because it is big to get out and I wouldn't want to leave it out. The other day at the store I found the perfect solution for me. This Ziploc vacuum sealer was on sale for $1.99 and so I thought I would give it a try. And I was impressed. It worked fine and did get most of the air out. It is easy to use, as long as you don't fill the baggies to full. It cleaned up easy and conveniently fit in my drawer with my baggies so it will be easy to get out the next time I need it.

I tried a Dyson vacuum once and it is very nice. One day I was in Provo with my old boss(cabinet boss) and he wanted to look at vacuums so we were in Home Depot talking to this customer helper guy then my boss asked about if it was going to fall apart. Then the guy threw the Dyson Vacuum about 50 feet into the air and it flew right onto the cement floor, just the acessories came off but the vacuum itself stay put and tidy. Then my boss bought the vacuum a few days later. He also said it picked up all the hair that his dog shedded on the carpet which his other vacuums wouldn't do. I will in the future save my money for a Dyson.
