Well, we finally let Mandy go today. She was so sick so I took her up to have it taken care of and it was very sad. She was such a good dog and we have had her since before any of the kids were born. We got her not to long after we moved into this house. I thought the kids would be sad but they all just said we still have Deegan. Deegan seems upset though so the kids have been playing with him.

That is so sad. :( It's always hard when a pet dies. I'm sorry to hear that.
Thanks Kamie it was very sad. I think it was the hardest on me. And Deegan, he was up all night wondering around the yard and barking. He hasn't been away from her for more then a few minutes since we brought him home when he was a puppy.
We will miss her. It just seems like yesterday that she was out back licking her own butt. I'm glad I didn't have to take her in..thanks Shell. I like the picture you put up here, I think that trip was about the last time she really looked decent.
I am so sorry. I know how bad I would feel if something happened to Foster. Your kids are sure mature to take it so well. I am sure they are sad but they seemed to understand the circle of life. Give Deegan a hug for me!
Now Mandy and Sadie can run around in heaven forgetting about their sicknesses they've experienced. Mandy was a good dog. She looked really bad when I saw her last but I am glad her misery is over. It was really hard to let Sadie go but it was for the best, now she's up there runnin' with Mandy. Now there's Deegan and Duke, I wonder if they would ever get along, I bet they would, you think?
Yeah, I bet they would.
I'm sorry Shelly. It's so hard to let go of a pet, they seem so much like family. My condolences.
